Diesel 504 Farmall

I would guess the tractor sets a lot,the fuel we have now does not have the additives it used to have and the valves stick and the pistons come up and hit the valves and bend the push rods. soak the valve stems with ATF, and work them up and down with a pry bar, add some Marvel Mystery oil the the fuel tank.

Save the MMO for the day you feel like ruining an injection pump. It's not something you want in your tank all the time.
What difference is a fuel additive going to make on sticking valves in a diesel?

The purpose of MMO is to clean the carbon from the valve stems, the same way it will and does from a gas engine.
