I bought it

I got that Vicon discbine at that auction today. Gave $1400 for it. I figured for that price,I'd take a chance. There are a few poly/plastic pieces missing off the rolls. I wonder if those are available and can be slid on over the end of the shaft? They look like that slide on that square shaft.
It fit on the trailer like a glove. I just had to take the angle iron stop off the swing cylinder, then we plugged it in to the auctioneer's loader tractor and it swung right around. I had a flat tire on the center axle of the trailer on the way home but I was only about a mile and a half from a Gehl,Kuhn/Knight dealer,so I swung in there and had them jack it up and change it with the impact wrench.
I'll get the darned thing unloaded and see how bad I got beat up.

Well, you're sure in it right. You've got some room to spend some money on it, if you need to. I'm sure you'll be happy with the performance, once you get it up and running.

Kinda figgered it'd swing around somehow. Even if you have to replace a roll, that's a cheap machine, Randy. Well done.....

Good going--after we traded email the other day--I left at 9PM wed. and drove down to Selma, Alabama and just getting back. 2 K MILES ROUND TRIP.
At 69 still working for some pay.

What did the 1850 s bring??????????????///

If you go to Sykora's site quick, you can still see what those danged old beaters looked like. Click on Storrs Estate Auction. He'll probably have the results posted tomorrow.
There weren't any bargains on the Olivers. There were only 2 out of the seven that they knew ran. One of the Super 88s and the narrow front 1850.
The real bargain was the Fiat/Hesston 680 with the loader and FWA. That one brought around $1100. An old Super 77 diesel, not running, one energy cell plug gone from the head brought $1750.
The Shepard SD3 diesel brought $4000. It sat there with both rear tires flat.

More than anybody thought they should have,me included. The results should be up on the website tomorrow. I don't remember right off hand what they did bring exactly.
If I had set the sale up,I would have put the only set of side shields for a Super 88 with the one that ran instead of the one that didn't. I would have swapped the seats too so the good one was on the runner. Don't quote me on this because when he posts the results,I might be wrong, but I think the non running Super 88 brought $1800 and the runner brought about $1200. I said to the backup bidder on the runner that they should have put the shields with that one and he agreed.
