Well all I can say is I guess everyone is on there best behavior, no judge ordered community service.

If that is Gary where at. The Gary I have been through is not that nice. I have been up most of the roads/streets off I-94 to the north to Down town and across on 20 through down town. Used it to get around the daily wrecks on 94.
 
Well, you have nice straight roads and very few hills to climb!

(My friend from Indiana says the speed limits around Gary, Indiana are MINIMUMS if you want to avoid car-jackers.)
 
I went through a trashy place like that coming east out of Colorado Springs. I could not believe all the garbage dumped on the side of the road.
 
Yep, all roads aren't freeways. (free dumping maybe) I met some folks from Gary, IN. some years ago. They were kinda trashy too.
 
Better than Lansing, IL. Go into the walmart store, the guards circling the lot in pick-ups radio in to the inside guards, two of them get a manager and go to the receiving door, they come out to the truck to get you, one stays at the truck, one stays at the door, while they take their stuff off the trailer, then they take you back to your truck, and stay at the door til you pull away, and the manager lets them back in.
Least that's how it was when I hauled out of one of their grocery warehouses.
