I measured the diameter today 1,3,4 were 2 13/16 I think and 2 cylinder was 3 inches even I think I've decided to go ahead and overhaul it

Are you measuring with a ruler???

Did you use a telescoping gauge or inside micrometer? Your measurements should be in decimal format for accuracy. For example, 2.875" or 3.025". Measuring the inside diameter is not easy.

It was a micrometer I'm not exactly sure how to read them but there was inch lines also so i used them. I have decided to drop the oil pan tomorrow is there anything I need to unhook beside the bolts?

the oil pan should be as easy as it looks.

... obviously drain it first : )

Only minor thing to keep in mind is to watch the size of the bolts as they come out -not sure on the fords if there are different lengths anywhere.

On top of that - there are a lot of bolts, so don't work from one end down as it'll leave the pan hanging, and possibly bending. Leave 4 corners in - loosen them - then remove those last while supporting the pan.

Again I'm just assuming the ford pan is like most other engines with a million bolts, but I've never actually worked on a ford tractor so just assuming.

It has alot of bolts im going to jack the tractor up and put it on stands the put the jack on the oil pan and lower it down. Thank you

Those dimensions do not make any sense, I agree the bore should be at least 3 3/16 without any overbore.
