The front edges of my king kutter bush hog digs into the ground. I don"t know how to raise the front of the mower. I have a Ford 3000 with three point hitch. The mower has a small rubber tire to adjust the back of the mower. I"am new at this so I appreciate any help.

Sounds like you need to make your top link a little longer?

If you were to do that, it should in theory raise the front of the mower and the lift arms slightly (more depending on how much you extend it) and it would leave the rear of the mower at the same height, because of the wheel.

I personally don't have a lot of experience with one, but that would be the first thing I would do!! Hopefully someone else will chime in with my same advice!! Bryce

I mow over rough ground, and have to us chain on my 3pt side arms so that the mower will float.

The control should have a slide adjustment that you can set so the 3 point will only go so far. Set it at the desired higth .

You buy a set of chains and brackets that go from the lift pins to where the top link hooks to the tractor made for just what you want to do and they can be adjusted easily.

answer saying to set level with 3 point is correct. I have a King Cutter also and lengthening the top link works the opposite way on it, ie brings front up later because of the way the top link U bracket is set up.
