update on the ford 340b

well i got the dents out of the cowling or nose piece, what ever ya wanna call it and husband is sand blasting the hood pieces so i can start banging on them tomorrow.i have to admit that i was surprised, i didn't think i'd get it looking that good. this is the first time i ever tried to do any body work, ever in my life. watching those utube videos sure payed off, thank you utube. :)

Sure looks good, and you in that seemingly arid, dry environment, not much chance it will rust immediately, around here, soon as you blast it, you have to protect it until you paint or the tiny brown haze of surface rust is likely to start.

Ford industrial tractors are a long time favorite of mine, that will look really nice once done,
 
The true quality of your work will show up after you have painted it. At least that is my experience.

Our last project was the first time I tried it and
I too was very impressed with the results. Both my
own and the kid's who did some.

I wouldn't call it easy, but I do think it's
something more people should try.

I can fully appreciate the effort it took to get
