Tire troubles

Quitting for the day, just about dark. Walked by my trailer, I see a nail sticking out of a tire. The tire wasn't flat. I thought the nail was in just a under the rubber. Wrong, I pulled out a long nail, and of coarse then the air. Lucky for me it was a tire I was going to change, and I had a new one. It didn't take long to change. A couple weeks ago I had a flat on another bald tire. Now I have four good tires on my trailer. I believe my trailer is just about legal now. Just another day in the neighborhood. Good night. Stan

When you pulled the nail out you should of had a plug ready! Ever since full service gas stations have become hard to find I have carried plugging kits with, and had good luck doing it.

When those nails come out I try and put a screw in their place, they hold better than nails lol.

I keep a couple of plugging kits in my shop, and always run out of rubber cement first. the tires on my riding mower, kind of look like medusa's hair, with all the plugs sticking out.
