Hard water spots on auto glass

How do you get hard water spots..off a windsheild of a car/truck? Anyone know the trick to doing this?

Use a good glass cleaner (your choice), wet the heck out of it and wipe with'00' (or extra fine) steel wool. HTH

I use steel wool dry on my windshields all the time. Removes dried bugs, dirt and any other stuck on goo.

Water/WD 40 and a razor blade. The liquid lubes it and the blade scrapes most of it away. Just use a new blade so of doesn't scratch the glass.

Mothers spot remover. Just did my car with headlight buffer pad. Worked sweet.

I use bonami for glass,chrome everything. It has a little chicken on the side that says "hasnt scratched yet"

Wisconsin Cowman has it. Vinegar will dissolve the calcium/magnesium, no elbow grease needed.

My wife uses vinegar & water for cleaning almost everything as I am allergic to the chemicals in commercial cleaners. If is really difficult, she adds some alcohol to the mix.
