Farmall C Hydaulics

Can you tap into the existing Hyd system to run hyd cylinders. I am thinking of adding a aftermarket 3 point hitch that has it's own cylinders. Does the pump have enough power ?

It should work. I have a Farmall B with live hydraulics on it and have had a loader on it since the early 60's.

I have the factory FH and IH loader on it. It has a push pull valve to shut off which ever end your are not using.

yes lots of pressure and the 3 pt really makes a tractor out of a c.
you need the bypass plate they used to be on ebay all the time but cant seem to find one right now.

I have an IH C. The piston in the lift box isn't very large in diameter. We once had an IH H with a front loader, used tractor hyd pump. It was very slow.

I think some of the add on 3 pt used the lift box and ran a pipe to the 3 pt, not 100% on that.

Let me know how it works, cost, may want to do that to mine.

I have not bought the C yet. I was looking for alternatives to the Tony Carbrough hitch that lifts with rods running back from the mid tractor rock shaft.
