Taken out of my front door a few minutes ago.

We had about an inch and a half rain.

What got me was as a KID you would jump on your bike and try to catch up to that durn thing. Never could catch it!!
 
Beautiful. Many years ago I left Joplin driving I-44 after heavy rain storm blew through, blowing storm went from SW to NE, heading to St; Louis to Mom's house, and followed rainbow all the way. ALL the way! And when I got to Mom's house she had supper ready. Never forget that.
 
I sure hope we get some rain today. I know others have it worse but it's been 11 days without any moisture. Great picture.

Nice picture. Here's one I took just the other evening after cultivating the garden. A little rogue shower was moving "backwards" (heading southwest which is really ususual for our area) and fizzled out about 5 miles from our house. Just before it did this rainbow appeared. It looks like my wife's cousin's farm is at the end of the rainbow; maybe I ought to ask them if they found the pot of gold!

Headed back to Indiana from Utah one time, followed a rainbow from Cheyenne to North Platte, it was getting fairly dark yet the rainbow was still easily seen.
