My Wife and me saw this JD A with a pretty slick cab on it pulling a camper coming out of El Paso IL yesterday!
Sharp looking setup!
Hope they had a safe trip! Storms were heading into that area!
Good luck on your trip Guys!

I don't like to keep posting this ,, but he does need more attention.. Media isnt covering him as I would like .. He is traveling now with a heavy heart.. he lost one of his lady cousins this past weekend, and she did a lot to get him on the road with fund raisers at home .. yesterday it was his 100 th day on the road .. here is many links as to his adventures .. and you can follow him live by satilite .

See how they took that old Peterbuilt cab and madee it for his travels .. so far one busted axle,( At the start of this run) and a flat on the trailer .
Got to do a Q& A with him on FB.. He says his mechanisc said to use reg gas ....Im not sure about that for the long trip

Old Rod, Don't stop posting and he needs more media to see these and the people on the route needs to get the media in there area to get involved. Thanks Roy for your effort here.

Wont be long before he will be in Allan NE .. maybe he will get to play a benefit for him.. this need planned ahead of him .. he don"t mind changing his planned route a bit..
says his son in law volunteered to haul the A and trailer back from California .. he has plans ..if still running good to drive it back through another route ..
I Keep praying God keeps His hand on him .. If ya get to see him .. you was lucky enough to see an angel on a JD tractor .

He shows a meet and greet,Princeton,Ill at the bank on Friday@ 11AM. Maybe those that are within driving distance can go and meet him.He has another meet at Dixon,Ill, Saturday at same time. Might be once in a lifetime deal for Illinoian's to see him. Then he heads for Moline,Ill.

Where are the pictures of that rig and why aren't they being posted? When I saw him in Gilman he came from my blind side (I was getting a truck load beans in the load out shed at the Cargill grain terminal in Gilman, Il. facing south east and he came from the north heading south on U. S. 24. Had no time to grab camera let alone focus it for a long shot.) I guess I should pay more attention to what the Slow Boys tractor club in Gilman but life keeps happening. Please post some pictures as that is one cool rig! Armand

He traveled about 12 miles from my house and was all over the local news. Very cool story but I wasn't able to make it out to see him because of work.

Brass valve guides wont get the lubrication needed for such a long trip ... thats the reason for the two tanks . one Main should have kero or a oil additive ..
smaller auxiliary for gas .
