a fellow gave my son this MF 65. all we have to do is get it off the ranch - about a mile thru sand to the road. motor is free, clutch and trans not stuck, only 1 bullet hole in the sheet metal (not bad to be in front of a hunting cabin). he already has the front rims and tires. we took the rears off my 50 thinking the bolt pattern was the same. wrong. hauled the rims back home and are working on plan B.

That's a pretty nice "give"!

Not sure I could paint it...though I know some folks are paint people - but it sure looks pretty as it is.

Loads of parts at this place if needed. I found them friendly to deal with. The 65 is a real nice tractor to work with.....It was the first tractor I ever drove when I was 6 yrs old.....So it is easy to drive!!!
Hope you enjoy it........Sam

thanks guys. I made the paint comment half in fun.i don't think he should paint it either. there aren't a lot of Masseys down in this part of Texas but there is a good used parts dealer about 70 miles from us and we can order parts through a local supplier who handles several lines. he's built several cars and trucks but this is his first tractor.

Frequent this dealership about twice a month; only 15 miles from the farm.

Bought all our Stihl saws here and parts.

Bought one BushHog FTH 600 finishing mower here and all our mower parts.

Good folks to deal with.
