We found a 'dumped' kitten,About 5-6 weeks,barely weaned.Half starved.Long hair yellow.Wife says we wont keep it.Find it a home.YA,right.....One guess what she named it.

Some years ago, I walked to the mailbox one day, and thought I heard a weak Meow. I looked around and about 50 feet away in a pine tree was a small kitten. He wasn't in the best of shape, but I fed him and raised him. One of the few cats I ever became attached to. My wife had bought a large vinyl covered easy chair at an auction for $5.00 and there was no room for it in the house so I put it on the front porch. Every evening after supper I would sit in the chair with the cat in my lap and we would both take a nap. He lived to a good old age. He was orange and white, guess what I named him? Yep, "Punkin".

Well, your did find it a "home", didn't she?

My son has been farming less than a year and already the cat dumpers are in full swing.

You didn't keep it (at some other location) it will blend in with the others. How is that bird hunting male doing? Jim
