Installing red power sleeve kit. Each sleeve came with 2 O-rings When removing mine it only has 1 at the bottom. New O-rings came with white dots on one an red dots on one. Both will not fit in groove in block and no instructions in overhaul kit. Has anybody every run into this. Multi kit?

I've got a note written into my German diesel engine book about this. The note is for the D358 but I would think it would apply to the D310 also since it uses the same O-rings.

The reference is to Service Bulletin number S4076. D358 engines with serial number D052400 and up use the O-ring with gold stripes. Earlier engines use the one with the red stripes.

The red striped O-rings have a cross sectional diameter of 5 mm. The gold striped ones are 4.75 mm

For a 756 use the thicker, red striped ones.
