Where's it headed

We'll guys, I have about 2,500 bushels of cob corn to shell and haul in. Do you guys think it has hit it's peak? I saw $4.77 yesterday spot haul price close to where I live. You have more experience than I do on the markets. I am in MN. Also how many horse tractor should I run my MM model D corn sheller with. Can I do any damage to it putting too big of a tractor on it? I was thinking my Oliver 1655 diesel, or an 88 oliver.

If you"re satisfied with the price, lock it in with a contract. It won"t be the same when you deliver.

We used a M on shellers. That 1655 should pull it just fine and run cheap.

Should be worth more for some cattle feeder who want to grind cob and all. It is hard to find ear corn

The sheller doesnt take much power at all to run. I have used a Farmall Super C on mine. I like shelling corn, its amazing to me how well an old Model D can do the job.

What would a guy price it at for cobbed corn? What would some of you think would be fair for it?
