It seems as I get older, the more I lay on a creeper or cardboard under a tractor, car, or truck, the faster I get nauseous. Now day"s, about three minutes is enough to make me throw up. At first I thought it was my bi-focals, but it will even happen without my glasses on. Anyone else have this problem?

See a doctor. I get a nausea feeling occasionally when I lay on my back after eating but it's never bad enough to make me up chuck. Come to think of it, the cause might be inner ear related. I'm bothered by vertigo a few times a year, but anytime I lay on my back the world starts moving around a little. Vertigo is notorious for causing nausea. Jim

I have the same problem. Mine is caused by BPPV -vertigo- google it- can't change oil in the vehicles anymore, or get instant sick!

like said, get checked. a heart 'OK' is always good to know.

Don't rule out the neck.
If I hurt my neck just right, it's not stiff, doesn't hurt, it just makes me sick and/or dizzy.
(don't have a clue why)
And I do notice it underneath stuff cuz I'm holding my head up a little.

Get checked for a hiatal hernia. I've had one since 1969; it won't kill you, but it can make you darn uncomfortable.

Yep. Like someone else said, it's probably BPPV, (benign positional (can't remember what other P stands for) vertigo.) Also known as ear rocks, or top shelf vertigo. It's an age related disorder where the crystals that sense balance in the inner ear clump together and create havoc. I am presently dreading having to get under a sink and fix a faucet cause it happens to me too. Something I used to do routinely.

I feel nauseous while lying beneath a truck or tractor too. Last fall while removing the starter from a john Deere B I again felt nauseous. That night I awoke dizzy, nauseous and could see the small light on my computer in the kitchen was spinning around. I felt really sick. I could barely walk I was so dizzy. I had to get up out of bed and after an hour or so I vomit several times. My neighbor said it was vertigo as her father had these same symptoms. I never did mention this to my doctor as I had other issues when I saw the doctor.

The neck, that is exactly what I was going to say. I lost most of the curve in my neck which puts pressure on surrounding muscles and nerves. Been dealing with it most of my life, I don't do any creeper work anymore if I can help it. The muscles can tense up to protect the neck and can make you sick to your stomach even though you wont feel much of a stiff neck. You may also want to try a chiropractor. Usually the occiput and or C1 can be a cause of it.

Row Crop,

Seems like it would be good to go get it checked out. On Mayo Clinic DOT org -- looks like it could be anything from GERD (reflux problem) to inner ear issues to other more serious conditions including stroke or heart attack.

And even if it is something more minor, perhaps there is a treatment that would help.

I would bet that you are right. Unfortunately I have the same problem--sometimes. I also have Meniere"s Disease, so my problems might be related to that. There are lots of things I used to be able to do just fine that now are not easy at all.

Isn"t aging wonderful? NOT! But neither is the other option open to all of us: stopping aging rather suddenly. Oh well. Good luck!
