Finally in the field!

Between the late thaw and 4-5 inches of rain over the last 10 days really got us going a little late but got a start plowing late this afternoon! I'll try and get some pictures tomorrow.

I plowed oat ground Thursday. Got the fertilizer spread and disced in yesterday. It rained this morning,so looks like it'll be Monday before I get back in to do anything else.

Can't even think about it yet in MN's eastern clay soil. Bet it
will be a week at best yet. 12 miles north of me on a sand hill
the plows were rolling yesterday too. Had to put the cows out
to pasture even though not a spear of new grass is growing
yet. Mud in the cow yard was knee to belly deep everywhere.
Really need heat and no rain for awhile now.

Too wet yet, here. Think we may be getting more rain
this week too. Feel bad for the farmers... it's
looking like a replay of last year.
