I need help on leaking power steering pump.

I have A 3910 Ford tractor, 1989 model. The power steering pump is leaking. Be leaking A little A long time, but now it leaks too much. I have got to fix it.

My Son said I could buy A new one, lots of $$.
Or I could buy A kit and repair my old one, what would be lot less $$.

Has any one fix one about this size, and did it hold up long?
I would like to know what you would do if it was yours.

Thanks

Have you identified exactly where? I had a leak on a971. It was the seal and replacing it was not difficult at all.

Should be repairable. I personally would give it my best effort, replace it only if something were broken or worn beyond repair.

Leaking externally (as the photo might indicate and making a mess) from a hardened "O" ring or a damaged tank, or INTERNALLY into the engine from a bad shaft seal???
