Well, it looks like it is going to be a truly BEAUTIFUL day, so I am going to push my luck and try to paint the Ferguson TO-30... Have to work for the next 4 days, so if I can get it painted today, I can start putting it together next week!! WOO HOO can't wait to finally get this ole girl done... Here is a picture of it and a few other parts in my "Red Neck Paint Booth" works like a charm, every time!! I'll be sure to get some finished pictures this afternoon when I am done... Bryce

Here"s a suggestion if you have a lot of small parts to paint- set those A-frames a distance apart and put a ladder on top......hang the small parts with wire from the ladder rungs, like you"re doing with the rims, etc.

Lots of nooks and crannies -, bend your neck all around to ensure total coverage.Don't be afraid to turn the spray pattern and air down a little to not overspray and avoid runs in the corners. Dust a coat onto tight areas first. Then open it up for large areas. Use the right temp reducer .[Fast for cold out slow for hot out]. Take your time don't go into a paint frenzy of hurry-up. Read the manufacturers tech sheets for dry times between coats. Filter the paint. Have fun it will be great looking when you are done. Nice racks to hold your parts.

You guys like those racks?!?! The blue one (closest in the picture) was a home made garden swing with a big wooden bench attached to it by chains, well after 20 years all of the wood gave out and mom wanted a nice soft cushioned one, so she bought a new one at MalWart, and gave me the frame.

THEN this winter it got left out and the cushion and chair (plastic) rotted away and broke, so she gave me the frame from the new one!! I love them, work great!!

I had the thought about the ladder... Granny has two 25 foot sections, but I think I would be maxed out to the amount of weigh that the little frames can handle!! You can see on is warped pretty badly!!

I did get everything painted... First cup was a little think and coating was as great as I would have liked.. I added a little more thinner for the second cup and had it RIGHT on the money!! Tractor looks G R E A T!!!!!

I'll get some "done" pictures later today, but for now here is a action shot brought to you by Mrs. Frazier!! :) Bryce
