Im looking at buying a 1950"s case vac. Dont know anything about the old case tractors so was wondering what peoples thoughts were on them? good sides bad sides?

I really like the high crop option with 36" or larger tires . They made them along time , plenty of parts. Nice and simple . Does your model have the Eagle hitch ?

Great little tractor. It will surprise you with its power. I have a 47 year model and really like it for light work. It will put its power to the ground real good.

Probably one of the best tractors of that size on the market at that time. They are simple, tough, and parts are still available. They are a nice tractor to operate. Mike

Good little tractor! We had two at various times. We even ran an AC 60 five foot combine with one.

When I was a kid,our first tractor was a Case VA. Good tractor but the lift cylinder was weak. About two years later Dad found a VAC that had been used at a sawmill and rolled. We used parts off the VA and fixed it. Had a strong lift and was a very good little machine. This one had a complete floor and a foot throttle as well as the hand throttle.

I have 3 VA series tractors. Great little machines. The Eagle Hitch is almost like a standard cat 1 3 pt, but not quite. Many cat 1 3 pt implements will fit it. great tractor for raking, tedding, firewood, stuff like that.
