Anyone ever use one of these things to plant corn? I've seen it done with silage corn, but what about regular corn. Block it off to ~30 inch rows?

I know it wouldn't meter very good, but anyone ever try it?

It will work but don't expect great yields. Better if you have the double run rather than fluted feed seeding units, but pretty sure they only offered fluted feed on this newer drill. If for a limited food plot or perhaps an acre or so that would be harvested I would do it.

i had a soybean special 5100, and i did like how much seed it could leave on the top of the ground.i tryed diffrent thing with it and got better but never perfect.
