Bullhead supper

I just got home from our local fire dept's bullhead dinner. I think it was the 78th annual. Do any of you guys do anything similar? I've got probably tenlbs of fish and six pieces of cherry pie here left over. I wish I could share! I'm going to bed with a full belly! Goodnight!
 
I used to use the old "pliers and nail" technique to skin bullheads and channel cats. Now I just fillet the sides and then fillet the skin off. Works great!

Brendon, I've never been able to stomach our local bullhead up here. I grew up on the BH from clear cold mountain lakes down in the central Adks. The local fish from Black Lake are too big, too muddy tasting and just awful. You take a 8-10" BH from Tupper Lk or Long Lake...whole different taste.

But anyways, kudos to the Brier Hill FD! At least the tradition continues.


Went to Willis Shattucks auction down in Dekalb yesterday. Prices are either crazy high or wicked low. I don't understand it anymore...
