free is never free

Got a flyer in the mail yesterday from the local Echo dealer for a free pair of gloves. I"ve bought a couple chainsaws from them over the years so I figured I"d go pay them a visit and collect my free gloves. Well I was in there having a coffee and shooting the poo with them and somehow ended up leaving there owning a used, new to me, zero turn cub cadet mower. I needed a better mower but was looking for a 3 point hitch one for the tractor but I think this will work better for me.

Yes, we want to hear about the gloves. I've gotten several pair of Wells Lamont "White Mule" leather palm gloves, courtesy of New Holland. I use them year around.
Would you believe on this farm I've got a zero turn lawn mower, a dedicated side mount sickle bar mower tractor, a dedicated 6" bush hog mower tractor, and a seven foot/three point Woods finish mower! The tractor for the finish mower might actually get used for other things too!
Oh, and a 15' Bush Hog bat wing for field use!

I went to a zero turn mower last year. Cut my mowing time from 4 hours to 2 1/2 hours. I should hade done that long ago.

Yes, I hate that. I just don't catch all my mistakes proof reading. Then if I don't double space, everything runs together in one paragraph on here anyhow!

Oh well, I guess it's amazing that something got me interested enough to try to run a keyboard at all!

That sounds like me driving to TSC to buy some nuts and bolts to save money. I can get them by the lb as opposed to by the piece at the local ACE Hardware. I always end up buying something else there too that I wouldn't have brought at Aces. So I guess i;m not really saving money.
