2400A international tractor

I recently acquired this 2400 A international tractor and now I am trying to remove and replace the brake master cylinders. I was wondering if anyone out there had some advice . Its got me baffled. The bolts through the master cylinder plungers are trapped by a shut off valve for independent braking and there must be a trick to this operation.

Have you tried just bleeding the brakes?

On my 2400A, the brakes gradually quit working and I learned about bleeding them from postings on this site. They work like a a charm now.
