8n ford front loader

I"m putting a used front loader on my 8n. It came off a 9n or 2n. I"m told that it"s a kelly loader. The pump shaft is .750 dia with 6 splines and 8.750 long. the replacement shaft in that dia. and spline count is 13.125 long. I would welcome any advice on this subject from someone with experience in this venture. Looking to buy the whole setup if anybody has one. All new parts are on back order so I"m told. Thank you in advance.

You need a front mounted, crankshaft driven pump to use this loader successfully. I had a 9N with the front pump on it and if you have the PTO driven pump, the hydraulics ceases pumping when the clutch is pressed in. That can present some very haury and scary situations.

One end is splined, the other end just has a keyway cut in it.
Cut it off on the keyed end and cut a new keyway.
You will also need the flexible coupler that goes on that key if
you don't already have it. Our host sells them in the 8N section.
