Front Tires made in Thailand

Need front tires for my Ford 2600.

There are some good buys on Ebay but the tires are made in Thailand.

Anybody got any experience with Thai made tires?

yep buy them, let them set in the sun for 6 months and get hard. Them mount them and use them. Most likely they will have a different smell when you get them.
 
Neighbor bought some offshore tires for the front of his Long, only used for mowing, they lasted three seasons before they started chunking apart. He replaced them last year with USA tires. He said the offshore tires had 365 hours on them.
 
It's about who made them in Thailand, like anything else from anywhere. I've got Yokohama tires on a small truck I bought 10 years ago and they've been fine. Made in Thailand. Many Bridgestones are also made in Thailand.

Which shore "offshore?" Not that it really matters because you can get good tires and bad tires off of any shore...

Mowing what? Mowing a lawn, or the side of a mountain? It kinda matters what you're mowing, for how long tires last.

The USA tires have only been around one year at most. Let's see what they look like in two more years, before you declare victory for the USA.

pastures only no mountain side, no brush, no rock. Just grass.
 
Why does that surprise you? Ever look at the cans of food on the grocery store shelf? China, Thailand, philliapeens ect. May get the rest of our stuff there to!
 
China is now becoming an expensive place to manufacture stuff

Now they are looking to further south as a low cost alternative to night cost china

Go figure
