Rain

We have had a nice soaking rain since early this morning in East Central Iowa. It should finish up getting the frost out and put some moisture in for planting.

I forgot to put the gauge out yesterday before it started,but we got hammered last night. Lost power about quarter to six yesterday afternoon. I don't know what time it finally came back on today. The tractor on the generator ran out of gas about 1 this afternoon. I flipped the main back on for the heck of it and the power was back. I'd been watching the cell tower just to the south for the blinking light to come back on. Still hasn't. Must be the power isn't back down there yet.
