OT[ '49 Chevy 1 ton SRW 3600 PU value?

Since I can't locate any discussion forum on YT Classic trucks does anybody have a guess what a '49 5 window Chevy 1 ton SRW with minor surface rust with one small dent might be worth? BTW it's in Texas. Sorry I have no photo's but will try to get some.
 
A 3600 is 3/4 ton. I have a "49 3800 that I tried to sell a year or
so ago. Mine is also rust free, cab and bed are excellent,
fenders and hood are rust free but have some dents. Engine
runs but not real well and breaks don"t work. I wanted 2000
but couldn"t get it. A good cab is worth more than $1000
though.

I had a 49 5-window 1 ton with duals and 10 ft. grain
box. sold it about 10 yrs ago for $1500. It was a
nice running, nice original shape and paint truck.
This was in Minn.
 
That would be a 3/4 ton and not a 1 ton, the one ton was a 3800. The 3600 should have single 17" wheels for 7:00 x 17" tires and a 216" engine with 4 speeds on the floor. had one from early 50's Uncle got it at 3 months of age for passenger use when the orignal buyer a store went out of business. Had it till 76 when traded in with the cab all rusted out and brake drums beyond turning and none avaible. I learned to drive on that truck. The one ton should have dual 18" wheels. I still have the orignal owners manual.
 
I own a 51 3/4 with 270cid 6. 4 speed 17 inch wheels Arizona truck. I would not sell it for less than 3Gs but it is very operational. Jim
 

Never heard of a '51 with anything other than the 216 and that year, the crank was still not drilled for oil and used the Dippers one troughs for Rod oiling..
Was pretty slow..about 50 MPH was the limit for that engine, unless you liked to change rods..!
Ours would take 100 Bu Soybeans (3 tons) up the hill on the East side of the Olentangy river, always topping the hill in High gear at 13 MPH..
Dropping to 2nd only slowed you down..!
