Back on Hydraulics

How many GPM does the Farmall 300 hydraulic pump put out?

I cannot find the information on tractordata.

I am also thinking I might go back to putting engine driven power steering pump on MH44. The pump is rated at 7 GPM. I will only have 3 GPM left if I steel 3 GPM for steering. I would not want power steering off it without priority valve.

If your run into this.

Priority valves are rated for X GPM, the one Steiner sells is 8 GPM. I only have 7 GPM on hyraulics, not thinking it will work with -1. I am planning to return that valve and either get 3 GPM valve or mount pump.

Go with a separate pump! On the other system anytime you turn the wheels the pump produced its full flow and the pressure necessary to move the load(front wheels). Any flow not used goes back to the tank at pressure and builds heat. More questions?

With a medium duty pump from a truck (salvage) you can have all the steering you want. I think the 7gpm also applies to the 300 pump at about 1200psi. Jim

You can use a Prince adjustable flow control as a priority valve. Totally adjustable for the flow you need.
