OT. Fruit trees

I live in Midwest Illinois is it to late to prune my fruit trees? What is the latest I can do it? Thanks.

We're still getting Frost, here in Wisconsin,
and lots of snow yesterday. As long as the sap
isn't running, should be ok.

Ok but if they are starting to bud out then it's a little late but I would go ahead and prune them back it won't hurt anything.

Pruning late will hurt fruit production for this year, but will not hurt the tree in the least.

Our rule on apples... you can prune during any month that has an R in it. That has worked for us since the late 1920's.
