I don't know much about Olivers, and maybe Mr. Lund could tell me if this tractor is priced right. Any other Oliver experts feel free to chime in. Seem high to me.http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/grd/4407285623.html

HEY NOW, lets have a positive attitude! "It has lost of extras" kinda odd none of them are listed though... :)

Looks like a $500 tractor and about a $300 blade to me. Bryce

Looks like it might not be too far out of line. Has power steering which is much sought after in the 550. Looks like pretty good rear rubber, also.

Well he is about $2000 high for the market here in Iowa. Clean Oliver 550s will sell in the $1500-2500 range.

Well,it would be just a touch on the high side MAYBE. Like somebody said,it has power steering, that's an expensive option. I can't see if it has a remote valve. If it does, that's more money. He just might get that for it.

Bryce, your prices that you think tractors are worth are less than scrap prices here, think you need to adjust your figures a bit.

rrlund,Is that your farm picture on the cover of "Eastern Farm and Livestock directory magazine? All "OLIVERS"May Issue.

Really?? Thats about right around here in North Idaho, MAYBE a little more on the tractor if it was nice running and driving in person. I think we are in different parts of the world, huh?! Bryce

"Lots of extras" may be pushing it- has power steering, but no power adjust wheels, no swinging drawbar, probably no remote hydraulics (no remote outlets, anyhow). I'd say $2,500 if it runs good.

Is it true you can't use the 3 point if the swinging drawbar is installed? I have a swinging drawbar on mine, but it may be home-made or after market. Not wide like the stock unit, and I can use the 3 point with it on.
