Allis Chalmers ENGINE

I have a late 60's Allis wheel Loader with the 3500 diesel engine.
Any of you guys have experience with this engine??? Was it used in any wheel tractors combines etc. It seems to be a very strong powerful engine from what I can tell.

We had an Allis Chalmers wheel loader (about 3 yards)we wore the original engine to the point of low compression oil consumption, and blowby. We found difficulty in getting parts for a rebuild and, using a Kit repowered with Cummins)

That engine was used in ag tractors, starting with the D-21, 210, 220, 7030, 40, 50, 60, 80. Also in L combines thru N series rotaries. Good engines, not hard to get parts for.

Different versions and model numbers, but used right up through the end, in the 8000 series too.
