OT Update on sore back

I am back up and about after a couple days on my back with ice. It is about as good as it was before.
 
That's something that,unless you're going through it,you just can't imagine how much it effects you. I used to have a lot of trouble but hadn't had much for several years. I threw something out just before Memorial Day last year and it was one miserable summer. My back's OK now,finally,but my knees are still killing me from walking all hunched over trying to compensate. You've got my sympathy,believe me.
 
Hope things improve for you, it sure ain't any fun!
Had my back operated on about 2003, vertebra were calcifying and squeezing nerves. Got so I could barley walk at all and hurt like he11 24-7.

Comin back some, but nothing like before.
 
I have had a bad disk for 30 years. I think it bulged out but did not rupture. I got lucky and it is tolerable again.
 
I have the same problem. When your back doesn't hurt you will do something to make it hurt. Then you will stop, ice it, take meds, until the pain goes away and then back to doing something you shouldn't.

Try not to over do it. .
 
It's good to hear you're up and about. When my son was 24 he had a ruptured disk and the next day after it happened he had surgery . There was a little nerve damage so his back is touchy all the time. Hopefully yours won't eventually rupture. Take care of it. Jim
