rented a farm barns sat empty for ten years pulled post, rolled up wire,mowed old barn lot about 7ac disced it all up real black soil,going to drill it to beans. tryed to disc bean field yesterday a little wet needs a couple more days to dry.centeral ohio

Be glad you have moisture. Not the case here in central Kansas. Nothing since some dry snow a few months ago. Wheat (that hasn't winter killed) is still hanging on.

A friend in SE IL called today and said that field work was being done south of him. Some was too dry around Flat Rock.

Very little water running in tiles here in central IL plus the ground is cold.
