I just saw this in the local CL adds, not sure if it is an H or M?? H's are very common around here, but it physically looks like it is a little bigger, like an M... Bryce

I just noticed that there isn't a belt pulley attachment on the right side. There wasn't even a place to put it??? If you look at the third picture, it looks like the hydrolic line goes right into the side of the Torque Tube right behind the PTO lever?!?!?! Bryce

it is an H. Notice the short oil filter. Belt pulley was optional. Either it never had it, or it's been removed. PTO lever is located BEHIND the seat. NOT in the torque tube. The lever you see is the hydraulic pump actuating lever, and yes, that is where the hydraulic hoses connect.

Logic? What's that? : ) All I can say is... it looks like an H. Wish I had a better answer for you. I bought my mom one for Mother's Day.

Not to be negative, but it looks to me like the loader could go to Pacific Steel and get crushed!! Dad wants and H or an M. He says that my C's are to wimpy... Oh well... :)

I told him that an H wasn't much better than a C, it still only pulls a two bottom plow up here, just found an M for $850 on there thought... Sounds like it isn't too bad, no pictures thought. Says that it is a narrow front with a loader. Starts and runs good, but he says the generator is missing and the throttle is worn?? Sounds like it wouldn't be all that bad to fix! Bryce

Easily an H. Look at the steering shaft, the shaft on an M is nearly horizontal rather than having that much downward slope. Normal plumbing for an H, plus you will notice the pipes going into the filler. An H does not hold enough fluid for a model 30 loader, and pipes from the upper end of the cylinder run back to the lower end then hoses back to the fill so that fluid in the top of the cylinder is pushed back into the reservoir. A tractor with no place for a pulley would be a good choice, since the pulley had to be removed to mount the pulley anyway.

Here is a link to a manual for the model 30 loader if anyone needs it http://home.centurytel.net/ejpuckett/Manuals/30 loader/

has it been broke in two? I see braces on each side dont think they are part of the loader frame? looks to me like they are holding the tractor together? unless someone knows better?or they were put there as braces to strengthen it so it wouldn't break?

definately an H. The angle of the rear steering shaft is a dead give away. That same shaft is more level on the taller bigger M. The short oil filter means nothing. That was a year thing, not a model thing. The complete belt pully assembly (not just the pulley) or the original cover plate for that whole has been removed. I happen to have an H without P.T.O. or belt pully assembly, and it has original IHC cover plates.

I use my loader for plowing snow in the winter, it works great for that. I take it off as soon as spring comes so the tractor is a little handier. I have it on a 300 now but it used to be on an H. If you get the M I have an M+W friction throttle that would fit it that I would sell for $30.

(Correction) My H has the belt pully but no hydraulics or P.T.O., but original cover plates for those whole's. I assume that no belt pully and a cover plate for that whole was an option too from factory.
