Its sixteen degrees and still snowin. Sure glad its spring. What happened to global warming? Sick of wearing two pairs of socks. west Mich.

Tough balancing act right now. I need to get some manure out while the ground is solid,but that wind will take the hide right off of you.

I have the same problem. Manure is froozen, and deeper than I remember. Ground is full of water and soft. Only way to haul is at night while really cold. So much for having oats in by the end of March.

Two years ago I had my oats planted by the 28th of March. Biggest problem was tractors overheating while plowing. Diesel was simply running hot, blowing coolant overboard. Gasser had fuel boiling in the sediment bowl, vapor locking it. Last year I didn't even buy fertilizer until April 30th.

This year end of May maybe?
