In the 6th photo; Is that Clarence M. with the cane? Made me remember that I need to go by his place soon - haven't talked to him for quite awhile

Wait, wait, something's bad wrong - no red clay, big rocks, medium rocks, little rocks. Oh, sorry, you're not in SW MO are you?

Nice pictures. The second from the last I feel shows a great eye by the photographer. If it were black and white would be a timeless step into the past.

I agree on the black and white.
It can be changed.
My old computer had an option in the photo software to do that. The new and improved one does not.

Heck, you don't need tractors and plows to turn your little peice of paradise upside down. Just take a pic. of it with an 1phone and then post it here. They always post upside down or on their side!! HeHe.
Loren, the Acg.

Wow. Have to agree with you. The annual, perpetual optimistic farmer. Note how he has an eye on the dark clouds ahead as he continues to work. Lots of great underling meaning in this photo and a preacher could get real "fillysophical" with it. Excellent picture.

Steve, does everyone in your neck of the woods use those roll-over plows? They are rare here in NW Iowa. Dale

Yes,That is all we use.One way plows are few and far between.Because of our flood irrigation,we need a flat surface.Crowns and dead furrows dont work here.

(quoted from post at 08:22:31 03/20/14) Yes! That is Clarence. How do you know him?Are you
in Montrose?

Yes, I live just north (mile and a half) of the DMEA office - 'bout a 1/4 mile west of J. Yates - I can't remember where or how (Recla Metals?) I met Clarence but I've known him for about 20 years or so but I haven't seen him for quite a spell. I'm going to fix that this weekend if all goes as planned
