NICE! Love to see some straight old girls in their work clothes! Envious of the weather too. I did get out and start a couple of our old girls that have been slumberin' through cold weather yesterday and exercised 'em a tad, but still wintry enough to slow us down here!

Oooooo, that makes me nervous. Isn't a set of brakes around here I would trust for that job. If that things ever takes a swim I don't wanna know about it!

That's on an overlook along US 127 north of Somerset Kentucky. Can't remember right off hand what town was just to the north of the lookout.

I didn't get to post on "G" day, so if I could catch up. This is my PTO generator. It's homemade, but I didn't make it. It works REAL well. Then there's my hiller that I made. Hope you enjoy. Thanks, Todd.

When I saw that picture several years ago it said the operator was using autosteer- daydreaming? What a wake to wake up! We have towers that big or bigger on my dad's farm. It would take a LOT of tractor to pull one down and with 750,000 volts I wouldn't want to be anywhere near.

Hay & Horizon in the background, and grain going into a Harvestore, down in Claverack, NY.

For any locals, in the first photo, the blip about in the middle of the tree line in the distance is the 43 story empire state plaza Corning Tower in Albany N.Y. with the rolling hills here, the office view can be very nice, nothing like it, and ironically, I have had an official office view from my office in that tower, having worked on the 33rd-35th floors there for a year, works both ways LOL !

Since you commented on the tower picture I looked up this one from about 40 years ago. My dad climbed this tower on his place before the wires were strung. (not the same tower that got pulled down)

somewhere I got the idea this was supposed to be "implements/tractors ¿ ¿ ¿ ???lol Well long as we are breakin the rules...the little ole guy in the middle is " Herman ", Loretta Lynns brother who recreated their old home in Butcher Hollar which is where we are standing. Did a nice job. Couldn't ask for a more down home guy to talk to. Learned a lot about the family history.( Wife and I are on right.)

The 1942 Farmall H my grandfather bought new in 1942. It has been in my family ever since. Picture was taken just before I drove it over the Mackinac Bridge in 2013.

That is one long bridge, I guess you would have time to take in the sights!
I hope it was not windy that day!

That's OK.It doesnt have to be tractors...As long as has to do with the 'Letter of the day',Bring it on!!!

The whole drive is about 12-14 miles, bridge itself is 5 miles long. We lucked out and it was a really nice day this year. Comfortable temps and not too windy. There is always a wind blowing though the straits, just a matter of how much wind. Usually there are a couple of days each year when the bridge is closed down due to wind. Semi's are limited to about 1/2 the speed of passenger cars. It's a beautiful sight from the bridge at 260' above the water, but I was too busy driving to take many pictures.

You're really coming along on that harpoon, Larry. Keep working and soon it'll come as naturally as whistling. When you become expert on straight harp you can start learning blues harp.

Where's the Hog?

Dang it Rusted, did you leave the pen gate open AGAIN. LOL!
