Mounting Loader Valve in Tractor Cab

I had posted this over on the Oliver board but will try here as well.

I"m thinking of adding a two-spool loader valve using the power beyond feature on my 1650 Oliver. The tractor"s got a cab, similar to a Year-A-Round cab for those who might be familiar with that style. Without a cab, the loader valve would mount to the right upright of the loader frame.

I"m wondering how others have mounted a separate loader valve in a cab. I"d be interested in seeing any pictures or getting descriptions of what others have done.

Kerwin Can get you photos, but I have a pedestal with two cables that go down outside and operate the valve. Makes plumbing easier. Can get you photos if you need them.

Mount your valve where it makes the most sense, then get cable and mount your levers where you want them. That way you keep the oil and grime out of the cab. On my 7010 Allis, I was able to squeeze the cable in under the weather stripping, and never had to drill any holes. I don't like the levers set at a 90 degree, but more parallel to me.

I used to sell loaders, this was a Miller I mounted the remote cables are the way to go like others said, this keeps all the hyd lines and mess out of the cab, I chose one lever to have a joystick feature that controlled lift and bucket tilt the single one controls the grapple

I was on a budget when I put a loader on my tractor. I mounted the valve under the right side of the cab, and built linkage with steel rods that run straight down through the floor. Definitely best to keep the mess outside.
