hi i have a farmall m im putting together for div ll i wanna stick 4.250 m w pistons in that i got and 6" m w crankshaft i got in with a 450 gas head i have opened up i dont wanna buy stroker pistons to get them back down with the block as now im .250 high because of your large cavity left open between valves and piston id like to mill of around craters on piston and a little in the head to allow piston to close alot of the chamber up has anyone done this or any advice would be appreciated thanks

I normally overlook stuff like this because I make plenty of errors in my own writing.
In your case though, my advice to you is learn how to type in sentences and paragraphs with capital letters and punctuation as required.
Writing is a powerful means of communication and the better you write the better you will be understood.
Perhaps you will say; "I'm using a hand held device to post."
But I think that is an excuse and not a legitimate reason.

As UD said it is hard to understand what you are trying to do but I will offer that sometimes guys bolt wedges onto the tops of pistons to increase compression.

>250 is way up in the air. My suggestion is to put a 1/4inch plate on the block milled to match holes and bores.
Removing enough material to clear will likely find water passages in the head. Shorter rods would be a better option. Jim

I get what your saying about the plate. I could buy the pistons made for stroker crank that have different wrist pin location or have mine offset drilled to bring it down to my deck height, my goal was to use my pistons that would be 1/4" tall and then mark piston for chamber in head and mill everything but what would fit in the head off the piston to my deck height. Then that would eliminate most of the dead space in the valve chamber of the head.

The worst that can happen is that you ruin the piston or head. Careful measurement, and clearancing might work. Shorter rods might also work. to pull it back to .100 or so protrusion.
You can probably take .080 off of the head with the pistons not protruding. THe puller forum might also have answers. Jim
