It's a shame all we have now a days is bodys in cabs. That went to up stairs truck drivin school.

I guess if they're going to block the road they had just as well do it right. What are the chances of that happening again? I've been involved with vacing the grain out of a ditched grain hopper three times because the young driver cut the corner. The one young driver drove out of the lane like he was driving a pickup and put all eight trailer wheels in the ditch. The rear hopper door ended up sprung and this was the first load after I'd spent several hours overhauling the slides so they would crank easy again. GRRR. The driver actually told me to take him out behind the barn and whip him and I sure did feel like doing just that. Sorry to hijack your post. Jim

When I retired 4 years ago there were getting to be a lot foreigners ot there that couldn't read or speak english.

Went and took my physical today. Doctor was talking about some things that some companies are requiring now and FMCSA is considering making mandatory for all drivers.

Are you over 35 and smoke.
OK time to send you for a Pulmonary function test. Can't blow (think he said) 85%; well you just failed your physical.

Is your neck size 17 or more.
Is your BMI 35 or more.
Do you smoke.
Are you over 40.
Answer yes to many times and we will be sending you for a Sleep apnea test.

Then you add all the new hour of service rules and you are hard pressed to keep the older experienced drivers on the road.

Slowly weed out all the experienced drivers and these pictures are what you get.

Maybe the tractor didn't have mirrors and they thought that if the tractor went around the coroner that the trailer would also. I have seen a lot of car drivers jump crubs by cutting coroners to tight. Just gotta get there fast.

One of the young guys driving for us one fall tried gunning it going out a tight field lane. He made it but the loaded trailer leaned way over to the left when the tandems went partly in the ditch and then went back upright when the tandems came back out. The trailer was creaking and popping, not a good sound. Jim
