Ok I'm SERIOUS this time

Yeah JR sure has been long cold winter around these parts. Right now its 14 degrees snowing and blowing. Wind chill around zero. At least its a dry snow here instead of the heavy wet stuff. I'm About forty miles NW of you.

Lol, I remember a May 10 years ago or so, I happen to be getting a load of logs delivered, we had about 3-4 inches of snow, trees were all leafed out, ect. I asked the logger what he thought would happen to the trees, he replied, I don't know, I've never seen anything like this before. Everything was fine, but it was something to remember.
 
I thought I saw some bare ground without snow on Tuesday. Then we got another 7.5 inches yesterday.

I have already got into my spring diesel fuel supply just keeping my snow plow tractor going. Seems like plowing snow is all I've done this winter.

I guess I better get off here and get out and finish digging out from yesterday.
 
we'll probably end up with only another two inches or so - so I can't really complain too much.
But it's the principal of the matter!

Where do I file a complaint?
 
JR I feel your pain! Have no desire to plan the garden, prune the fruit trees, or order more plants !! The barn driveway is all mud (well until it refroze last night), the snow piles aren't melting and building the new chicken coop has stalled...

Was hoping for another early spring - I'm afraid there's going to be a significant gap between the last hay bale fed out, and the first one put in this year.
 
Amen! Somebody turn off the danged snow machine for cryin' out loud! 0 degrees this morning. Brisk North wind. Hour and a half plowing snow just so I could get out of the drive way and the kid could make it to the manure pile.
