50 years ago today I graduated from Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood Mo. Friday the 13th of March 1964. I've liked Fri the 13th every since.

I don't know, but I used to work with a guy that you'd get along real well with. I'd walk in the door in the morning, and he'd ALWAYS say, "Did you ride a bicycle, or bring your lunch?" The conversation went down hill from there, HA!

That might make some sense. If you rode a bicycle to work, you might go home for lunch. If you walked, you'd need to bring your lunch.

Will be 52 years early July for me. Fortunately I did't experience basic in winter. we had a few "wet bulb" reading days, I am sure that was the lesser of the evils. I always had the impression I would rather NOT have the place named after me! LOL
