3204 CAT engine question

do you know where I can buy a 3 ring piston and rings for a 3203 cat engine? I checked at the Caterpillar place today and they said they did not have any thing like that

Cat doesn't make them but IPD does. Look for an independent shop or google IPD. They make a lot of diesel engine parts for many different models. The 3 rings give more compression which relates to a little more HP and easier starting with a lot less blow by.
