mmmmkay....pulled my 46 Farmall H front axle
(single wheel - wishbone type) assembly apart, and
I have a seriously worn axle.

Case/IH does NOT list this part...anyone know
where I can get this from? Also need the end-cap
seals?

...might be easier to just have my local
machinist over-bore the end-caps and mill an axle
to fit???

Should be a few of those around, but single front wheels are common only in limited areas. You may need to look in sugar beet or vegetable country for example. With 390,000 Farmall H's manufactured there should be one a scrapyard somewhere.

I saw a lot of single front wheel H's in California when I lived out there. The Central Valley is full of single front tractors of all kinds. You might look up salvage yards there and see what you can find.

I have a two spindle front axle for a IHC for sale. NO hubs or bearings. Can get you the part number off the casting to make sure it will fit. I know it has 4 bolt holes at the top.

Real common around Houston. I have one I took off a 300. Shipping to Boise probably won't make sense.
