I have the following numbers can anyone tell me if it is a B or C Thanks, Bill 200964 AM291621 203284 AM3300-1 CEJU-68266 11-18-18 AM3274 These numbers were gathered from thru out the tractor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Bill

A picture would help. A C is wider across the rear axle housing than the B and most have narrow fronts. The serial number is stamped in the transmission case in front of the gearshift lever.

How do I post pictures?

You haven't found the tractor serial # yet as those numbers are too high. As crawlerjohn stated, the serial number is located on top of the transmission case and should be preceded by either a B or a C depending on which you have. All of the Bs, as far as I know, had wide front axles. Most of the Cs had a narrow front with two wheels although some did come with a factory wide front. The C wheelbase was about 3.6" longer at 77". The B wheelbase was 73.4". The B had a max width tread setting of 60" where the C could be set out to 80" wide at the max. Rear wheel tread was noticeably wider on the C. The B was basically designed for one row farming where the C could do 2 by straddling the rows. Something similar to the Farmall A and Farmall B.

I followed the directions under advanced posting tools

Sorry to say my tractor is up north in Mi. and I am down south Mi. so cant get to it to check for more numbers. Bill

Looks like a C to me. My Dad bought one for me to drive when I was in the third grade because I was too short to reach the pedals on our Oliver 70. I loved to drive it.

that's what I think the fellow I got it from wasn't sure when he got it there was a b on it he repainted it just got new decals. Thanks for your option Bill

You have casting numbers. Serial numbers are always STAMPED. By your pic- definitely a Model C. SN is by the shift lever, will start with a "C". Enjoy your tractor! Nice little 2 row...

No doubts at all, it is a C. The hand stamped number in front of the shift lever would be the number you would have to go by. After all these years and all the interchangeable parts you can never be sure what year all the parts could be.

Yea thats a "B". Drove one at the farm fair a couple of years ago in the tractor parade. Half way through the govenour crapped out! Allis chalmers is know for that. I got it back and parked it but the owner just couldn't beleave it. I stomped on the clutch and grabed those two hand brakes just inches from hitting a truck in the parade.

Looks like a C to me as well. Here's a picture of my C.
My headlights are in the wrong place.
