Semi drivers

On my way to the in-laws in WI today. Going through MN now and with the blowing snow and snow packed roads I'm sure thankful for the semi driver behind us keeping a good distance. I sure like that kind of safe driver. I'm letting my wife drive at the moment so you know I'm not typing this and driving at the same time.

Drive a little to the side of everyone else's tracks to gain a little traction. Thirty years driving semi I've seen many cars go sliding off the road because they follow in everyone else's tracks where it is most slippery.

Not me today, I'm goin the other way, from chicago to mn. Be home tomorrow for a couple days off.

Enjoy being home in Minnesnowta :) the wind blown snow was mostly between Mankato and Worthington. iIRC you live north of there, so you should be OK.

A friend of mine went up to Minnesota yesterday from south central Iowa to get a part and showed me a picture on his phone that looked just like that. Said he drove in a white out part of the time and was going to stop at Cabelas but got the heck out of there. 45 mph or less most of the time. The sun was shining here.
