I got propane about an hour ago. $1.80 per gallon from my independant COOP dealer. That is here in Larrabee, Ia.

Bet you had it contracted for that amount. I had it foe $1.39 . I ran over my contract and paid $5.25. for the amount it took to fill the tank on the last tank fill.( Illinois)

Not so sure about that. I'm less than 100 from him and heard the other day it was about $2.

Dale, that's good news. We probably get it from the same supplier as you and he is scheduled to come fill the tanks next week. Jim

not contract it was 1.98, 1 week ago. 250 gallon to get me thru till spring. he relayed to me that people have told him they used about 30% more then usual, this winter. I ran my figures and agreed. sw of Lincoln ne.

hey old popper I am 25 miles north of you at sanborn iowa and Iam sure sore at the big propane people-- they did nothing but rip people off -- government had nothing to do with it - just need someone to blame -- dont you think?I filled my tanks for 1.80 or so and my wife said you cant use the gas fireplace with the fuel at 4.85- what? it will come down and it did so now its ok to fire it up ?????

I was quoted 1.80 today, two weeks ago it was 3.45. The supply is catching up with the demand. Everyone seen to forget we went though the same thing in the late 70s. Lot's of LP, just not enough pipe line capacity for this strange year of demand.

According to NYSERDA the average price in my county as of 3/4/14 is $4.21!!!
