Somewhat O/T - Fabrication

Since working on tractors gets frustrating at times and you have to wait on parts, I got to thinking of doing a little fabrication to break up the headaches.

I was thinking of building a go kart semi. I figured I could build a flat bed trailer so that my little hit and miss motors have something to sit on (and I won't have to carry them around). Any have one or driven one? I was thinking about making it look like an old semi (bulldog etc), any brands that have character that look good? To keep it close to tractors I can use it to pull start my tractors.

Open to ideas/thoughts/words of discouragement etc.

Thanks.
something like this

Far out!!

I've always wanted to build something like that to drive in parades, maybe even a golf cart powered by a hit and miss engine, or something off-the-wall, but seems like I never have time.

If you have a solid idea, go for it.

A semi-truck for midgets.
Oh, that was offensive. I meant to say vertically challenged people.

There was one at the Missouri River Valley Steam Engine Show in Boonville Mo. last year. It was a cabover pete if I remember correct, with a flat bed trailer and he drove it around. I believe he even had a tractor or something he hauled on it.
