A peek at my Farmall then coffee time

Early this a.m. I walked past one of my 340's and came in to microwave a mug of yesterday's coffee. Ok, now that I made it tractor related...for months I have been thinkin' wouldn't it be nice if that annoying microwave 'end' sound was something more pleasant? Even the sound of an old school bell up in the tower ringing, or some polka music; like I am listening to online on

well...they were playing good stuff, I like the 'Dutchmen' style of polka music. If folks can put annoying sounds on their cell phones and we can put folks on the moon, why can't I listen to something pleasant in the pre-dawn dark whilst I'm in the kitchen? Gotta go back and warm the mug up again; gonna open the door and look at the 'grill-less Farmall again too. Enjoy your day folks![/url]

I completely agree. I usually watch it count down
and hit the open button before it goes off. Ours
has a reminder that beeps every few minutes after
the time ran out, too. Drives me nuts.

Especially annoying when you're getting a midnight snack and don't want the wife to know. Why can't there be a mute button?

Great idea! Even a nice mellow "Blue Skirt Waltz"
would be good.
I have polka music as my ring tone on my cellphone, had someone comment that they liked it when in a local store. I also do the weekly "Old Time" dance thing.

Bring the Farmall in by the stove, it will return the kindness.

I would be happy if I knew why a $200 built in
microwave and a $800 electric range don't have a
back up battery on the clock, but a $2 alarm clock
does!

How about those beeps that go off in a fast food restaurant and it takes three minutes for someone to shut it off. I just can't understand how the companies allow their customers to keep getting hit by that 2x4.
